Since her first Blackwell design, Nicola has perfected the art of recreating this special stained-glass effect- black leadwork and panes of colour, tinged with the slightest ash-grey. Her latest homage to Blackwell House sees blue birds, ruby tulips, roses and roundels filled with magenta spots.
